In addition to the generous contributions we receive from our supporters, adopters, and other donors, GGLRR also benefits from various fundraising endeavors throughout the year. Thanks to the generosity of businesses across the Bay Area, we are able to raise much needed funds for our rescue efforts at these entertaining events and activities.
Not only are these fundraisers financially beneficial for GGLRR, but are great fun for everyone who participates as well. Here is a list of fundraising events currently running.
Of course, if you don't want to participate in these fundraisers, we always welcome direct donations too!

2011 Lab Rescue Calendar
For the first time ever, GGLRR will produce its own calendar featuring Labs adopted from us. We are asking for submissions for the 2011 calendar, with lucky Labs to be chosen to grace the pages of the calendar, while raising much needed funds for Lab Rescue. If you would like a photo of your Lab(s) to be considered as one of the photos in GGLRR's 2011 Calendar, read more about our guidelines and submission process, review your existing photos or take some new ones, and enter for your Lab's shot at fame! |
Membership Savings Card
Do you pay for a AAA roadside service card? SchoolHeart offers a membership program called the hCard, which offers similar service but only costs $39.95. The hCard also gives you significant discounts for travel and entertainment. SchoolHeart gives GGLRR 50% of the membership fee so the service you want can now help Labs! Learn more about the hCard and then sign-up! |

Pet Food Express - "My Mutt" Photo Program
When you donate at least $250 to GGLRR, you can request a "My Mutt" photo session from Pet Food Express. Your rescued pet's photo will be taken by a professional photographer, produced as a poster, and mounted on a wall of a Pet Food Express Store. Pet Food Express pays for all photography, production, and mounting costs. For a donation of $500 or more, you can keep the poster after it has been displayed in the store. In addition, a digital copy of the photo will be given to you to keep. What a great way to help us help other Labs in need while showing off your rescued Lab! Refer to the Pet Food Express site for more information and application form to submit with your GGLRR donation receipt. |
GGLRR Logowear Store
GGLRR has a store on CafePress where you can order a variety of T-shirts, sweatshirts, bumper stickers, magnets, and even a ceramic dog bowl - all with our Lab rescue logo. Please let our webmaster know if there are other products or designs you'd like to see! The prices are reasonable and profits from our product sales go towards helping more homeless Labs. Wear or display our LabRescue logo items to encourage people to adopt a Lab-in-need.

$1K Fundraising Challenge - Goal Achieved!
Our biggest expense in rescuing Labs is the vet care that most of them need, sometimes even surgeries to relieve the pain of otherwise wonderful adoptable Labs. Our veterinarian partners give us generous discounts for our many vet care bills. Now one of our most supportive vets is taking this to the next level and offering to match funds for donations raised up to $1000!
