Lab Rescue Pet Fair
Next event: Saturday, July 31st, noon - 3pm in Novato
Golden Gate Labrador Retriever Rescue will be bringing Labs available for adoption to Pet Food Express in Redwood City on the 2nd Saturday of each month, and to Pet Food Express in Novato-Hamilton Marketplace on the last Saturday of each month!
Come meet our Labs and maybe find the one who has been waiting for you! Reps will be there to talk with you about our adoption process, the Labs we have available for adoption and to ask you questions to find the best match for forever homes.
Please keep in mind that adoptions are not a "first come" situation so you don't need to get there early. We meet with everyone during the fair who is interested in a specific Lab as well as those who have contacted us via phone to find the best home for each dog given their specific needs and personality. Typically, Labs do not go home with people just meeting them at the fair -- it's a busy and exciting environment so we usually ask everyone to go home and carefully consider instead of making an emotional decision at the fair (yes, we know the Labs are so cute that everyone wants to take one home that day ;).
We usually have 5-10 Labs at the Pet Fairs and are currently planning to have the following Labs this weekend (more will be added during this week as confirm their transportation):Coty,Skate,Bones and Rambus 7 year old black neutered male lab and Sierra a 7 year old yellow spayed female lab (not posted on site yet). Please understand that sometimes the dog is adopted right before the event or has something come up with the foster parent, illness or the like that prevents them from attending -- we do the best we can at making info up-to-date even the morning of the event. Some of our Labs are too far away for this event so we'll be happy to talk with you about other Labs on our adoptable list.
