Maple and Bean on a walk

Daisy: 10-mos-old female yellow (white) Lab 55 pounds will-be-spayed

Background: She was in a loving home that due to unforeseen circumstances they had to make the most difficult decision to find a new home for Daisy. All are happy that we are able to find the most wonderful forever home for her.

What her Foster says: Daisy is a very sweet 10 month old blond Labrador. Her daily routine starts early. She gets up at 6:00 am for a poop and pee in the yard. Immediately thereafter she is ready for her breakfast . Then she takes a half hour walk around the neighborhood on her harness and leash. She could use some obedience training to learn to walk without pulling. She loves playing at the dog park and plays well with other dogs. No idea how she does with cats. As with most labs- she is food obsessed. For dinner she gets another cup of dry food. Try and keep her out of the kitchen- she gets underfoot. She does not like to be left alone and will shred and chew. She loves to couch surf, jumps on furniture and beds. She has been sleeping thru the night in bed with her foster family. She is very loving and adorable. She will make an excellent companion and family dog.

What Daisy's Rescue Rep says: Daisy is a young, eager to learn 10 month old puppy who will need a family that will continue to help her learn and take her to training classes. She is very social and will make a wonderful family member. We are looking for a family that she will be with a large part of the day/night. She is not crate trained, but rides well in the car, and is learning to walk nicely using a Easy Walk halter. Daisy is up to date on shots but will need to be spayed, which GGLRR will coordinate.

Daisy is located in: Novato.

Our volunteers donate their personal time & phones so please only call during reasonable hours (8am - 8pm). The Rescue Rep identified in the dog posting is the only person with information about the dog - please only contact the designated volunteer. We do call everyone back within 2-3 days so please be patient. We work very hard to make the right matches for the dogs and for the new owners. We get 3-5 dogs per week; we do not have a facility where the dogs are housed, they are in foster homes throughout the Bay Area.
