Daisy: 11-month-old female blk Lab 80 lbs spayed

What Daisy’s Owner says: Daisy is a loving, happy, sweet girl. She is a quick learner that does not bark. She likes to play fetch and loves her toys. Daisy does not react when she sees dogs on a walk. Daisy bonds quickly and loves to be with people.

What Daisy's foster says: Daisy entered our home a little shy, but quickly warmed up to everyone and my 3 yr old lab. Now, she happily greets people after a couple seconds, and is fantastic with every dog she's met on walks. Very easy dog at home and on walks with no pulling or excessive curiosity, and has not had a single accident in the house during this stressful transition. She does need to lose some weight, but we're rapidly working on that with more walks, dog playtime, and an improved diet.

What Cash’s Rescue Rep says: Daisy made her way to California from Boise, Idaho via a Good Samaritan trying to help a friend and do the right thing for Daisy. Now Daisy is with Lab Rescue looking for her new home. Daisy is a sweet, high spirited young dog that is perfectly fine with dogs she meets along the way. Daisy still has a lot of puppy in her; she will need a home that can give her the training and lots of exercise she deserves to keep her puppy antics in check. She is curious about cats. Daisy is a very smart girl that learns very quickly and very willing to work. She is learning to walk very nicely on a leash and is doing really well in such a short time. Lab Rescue will be looking for a home where someone is home a good part of the day, make her part of the family. Someone who will continue with her training. Daisy is a little overweight for her size; her new family will need to be consistent with her exercise and food portions (fewer treats) to keep her healthy and fit. Daisy is one great Lab!

Medical Information: Daisy is up to date on her shots – microchipped. She will need to be heartworm tested.

Daisy is located in: Mill Valley

Our volunteers donate their personal time & phones so please only call during reasonable hours (8am - 8pm). The Rescue Rep identified in the dog posting is the only person with information about the dog - please only contact the designated volunteer. We do call everyone back within 2-3 days so please be patient. We work very hard to make the right matches for the dogs and for the new owners. We get 3-5 dogs per week; we do not have a facility where the dogs are housed, they are in foster homes throughout the Bay Area.
