Lucky: 10 -year -old male - yellow Lab 60 lbs – neutered
Coco: 10 -year old female - chocolate lab 50 lbs – spayed

Background: Lucky and Coco are not siblings, but they have been together most of their lives. Unfortunately, their family has to move and are unable to take these two wonderful Labs with them. Since they are buddies, we would like to try and keep them together. Lab Rescue knows that sometimes this is not possible, but these two are easy going “loveable Labs.”

What Lucky’s Rescue Rep Says about him: Lucky is a happy, friendly dog that loves to be with people, he is great with kids of all ages, right now he lives with a five and eight year old. He has been around other dogs besides Coco with no problems. Lucky is house and crate trained. He is well trained and knows quite a few commands that he will perform happily for you. He walks pretty well on a leash; he may get a little excited if he sees another dog only to go and meet, very friendly guy. Lucky spends his day outside and sleeps in the garage at night in his crate. Lucky does think it is great fun to bark at the neighbor's cats, so a cat free home would be best for him.

What Coco’s Rescue Rep Says about her: Coco is a very sweet and friendly girl that loves her people, kids, and other dogs. She is just an all-around nice lab. Coco is house trained and sleeps in her crate at night. She also knows lots of commands, which she is more than happy to show you. If she needs a correction just a simple “no” will do. She will come when you call her. Coco walks very well on a leash; she is fine meeting other dogs. She also barks at the neighbor’s cats, so a cat free home for her also would be best for her. Coco spends her days outside and sleeps in the garage in her crate.

As mentioned, we will be looking for a home for them together. We want their new home to welcome them inside and make them part of the family. They don’t ask for much just some love and attention and a soft place to lay their heads.

Medical information: Lucky and Coco are both up to date on their shots – Heart Worm tested. Lab Rescue will be taking them to the vet for a complete well check and blood panel.

They are located in Petaluma.

Our volunteers donate their personal time & phones so please only call during reasonable hours (8am - 8pm). The Rescue Rep identified in the dog posting is the only person with information about the dog - please only contact the designated volunteer. We do call everyone back within 2-3 days so please be patient. We work very hard to make the right matches for the dogs and for the new owners. We get 3-5 dogs per week; we do not have a facility where the dogs are housed, they are in foster homes throughout the Bay Area.
