Willow: Four month old male silver Lab 30 lbs, not yet neutered

What Willow’s foster says: Willow is a loving puppy that loves to run after the ball and cuddle on the sofa. He LOVES belly rubs and it has a very calming effect on him. He loves squeaky toys and keeps himself entertained with a bone or chew toy. He is a curious puppy that loves to explore the backyard. He is very energetic and playful at times but also needs his naps throughout the day.

He sleeps through the night in his crate. He sits by the back door when he needs to go potty. He will go out for a quick pee but needs attention and some play time before he will agree to fully go potty or will agree to eat! He is full of himself now like a puppy should be!

Ice cubes are very fine treats to him, so crunchy and tasty, he will follow you almost anywhere for one!

What Willow’s Rep says: Willow is a purebred AKC registered Silver Lab. Willow was diagnosed with Puppy Strangles (Juvenile Cellulitis). It is not contagious and he just finished a course of antibiotics and our Lab Rescue vet just gave him a clean bill of health. He is full of beans and a healthy and typical puppy, adorable, vibrant, happy and cuddly! The only lasting effect is some missing fur on his muzzle and a little scarring.

Puppies can be a lot of work as they need lots of exercise, time and attention so that they can go on to be good canine citizens. Any children in the home must be 8 or older as puppies have sharp nails and teeth. Willow needs a cat free home.

Medical Information: Willow is up to date on vaccinations, is microchipped and will be neutered in three months. We require a $300 refundable check upon proof of neutering.

Willow is located in: Mountain View.

Our volunteers donate their personal time & phones so please only call during reasonable hours (8am - 8pm). The Rescue Rep identified in the dog posting is the only person with information about the dog - please only contact the designated volunteer. We do call everyone back within 2-3 days so please be patient. We work very hard to make the right matches for the dogs and for the new owners. We get 3-5 dogs per week; we do not have a facility where the dogs are housed, they are in foster homes throughout the Bay Area.
