Lucy 10 Year Old Yellow Female – Not Spayed 65 Pounds (Mom)

Background: Lucy and Sunny need a new home as their owner died and the relative that took the girls in can not keep the two dogs. She has reached out to GGLRR to take them into the program and help find them a new home. The owner that passed had the girls since they were puppies.
What Their Current Owner Says:The girls are very nice dogs, they love to ride in the car, play tug of war and of course love a came of fetch. They are housetrained and know leave it, wait, sit, stay, comes when called and down. Both dogs need better leash manners and are fine with most dogs. They are fine with cats, all people and kids. They can at times jump up to greet you so maybe a home with older children.
What Their Rescue Rep Says: For the last couple of years the girls have not had much exercise and have not been walked on leash much. They are very nice dogs and are very happy girls. GGLRR reached out to a professional trainer to evaluate the girls since they are not that close to the Bay Area. The trainer said they are great dogs, need a refresher course on some things and it would be fine if GGLRR splits the two dogs up.
Medical: Both girls have had a recent well check, they can lose a few pounds and both need to be spayed.
