4 CHOCOLATE PUPPIES

Share This Lab:

Four, 14 Weeks old, Chocolate Lab Puppies: Three males and one female

Background: The puppies are in Forestville and the owner reached out for GGLRR to help her find homes for them. She owns the purebred Chocolate Mom and Dad. (She did not want to take them to the shelter and GGLRR said we would help her get them into a foster, adopted and then the medical. GGLRR will get them their last round of shots and then spayed and neutered.)

What Owner Says: The puppies are very sweet but they are still puppies with energy. The like the water, will dig in the ground, allowed on the furniture, are very friendly and playful and just want to play. They are crate trained and are not left for that long during the day. She plays with them on a regular basis and tries to work with them on commands.

What Rescue Rep Says: With puppies we want someone that is around and has time for a puppy. Someone that knows the energy of a puppy and knows that puppies can get into everything. Eat, play, poop, pee and sleep; this is their schedule for most of their young life. They may need to go out in the middle of the night and it can be exhausting at times but they are very rewarding!

Several puppy handouts from Marin Humane are fabulous reads:
Puppy World
Puppy Health
Puppy Socialization

Medical: The puppies have been wormed, had 2 round of shots, and had baths.

Located In: Forestville / we want to bring the closer to the Bay Area.

Our volunteers donate their personal time phones so please only call during reasonable hours (8am - 8pm). The Rescue Rep identified in the dog posting is the only person with information about the dog - please only contact the designated volunteer. We do call everyone back within 2-3 days so please be patient. We work very hard to make the right matches for the dogs and for the new owners. We get 3-5 dogs per week; we do not have a facility where the dogs are housed, they are in foster homes throughout the Bay Area.
