Lab Rescue Pet Fairs

Golden Gate Labrador Retriever Rescue will be bringing Labs available for adoption to various Bay Area location (see links and addresses below) on select weekends. Come meet some of our Labs and maybe find the one who has been waiting for you! Reps will be there to answer questions about our adoption process, the Labs we have available for adoption and to discuss finding the best match for forever homes. Please do not contact these vendors, who generously allow us to use their facilities, for information about GGLRR adoptions as they are not prepared to answer these types of questions.

If you have questions about a particular dog indicated as being at the fair, please contact the representative identified on Labs Available. Information about the process for adopting a dog can be found on Adopting from GGLRR.

Please keep in mind that adoptions are not a "first come" situation so you don't need to get there early. We meet with everyone during the fair who is interested in a specific Lab as well as those who have contacted us in advance via phone to find the best home for each dog given their specific needs and personality. Typically, Labs do not go home with people just meeting them at the fair -- it's a busy and exciting environment so we usually ask everyone to go home and carefully consider instead of making an emotional decision at the fair (yes, we know the Labs are so cute that everyone wants to take one home that day).

We usually have 5-10 Labs at the Pet Fairs. We will update the Labs Available page to indicate the dogs coming the week of the Fair. Please understand that sometimes the dog is adopted right before the event or has something come up with the foster parent, illness or the like that prevents them from attending -- we do the best we can at making info up-to-date even the morning of the event. Some of our Labs are too far away for this event so we'll be happy to talk with you about other Labs on our adoptable list.

Advance registration is required. Register in advance for this webinar HERE. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar. We will send an email out a day prior to the pet fair announcing what dogs will be participating in the event. We will present the dogs we currently have up for adoption, explain our adoption process, and answer any questions attendees may have. A link to register will be posted a week or so before the event.
