Bruno ~3-year old male yellow Lab. 90 lbs, Not yet neutered

Background: Bruno and his brother, Bear, are in search of new homes, as their owners are parting company and unable to keep them.

What owner says: We've had both Bruno and Bear since they were puppies. Bruno is easy going and gentle. Loves people. He spends the day outside in our backyard with his brother. At night, Brunor sleeps on a crate. We have taught him a few commands: sit, stay, down, fetch, leave it. We play fetch daily out in the yard and often go running. Bear loves riding in the truck. He gets along fine with other dogs and is easy with cats.

What Rescue Rep Says I met Bear and Bruno at a Sacramento dog park. Big goofy dog. Solid and strong. A bit all over the place on leash. Very attentive to his owner. Loves fetching the plush toy and will bring it back to you. Would be fine in a home with another dog but would do great as an only dog. Not for families with small children or folks unsteady on their feet as he can be a little bit of a bull in a china shop.

Medical: Appears to be quite healthy. Perhaps a few pounds overweight. Overdue for vaccinations. Still needs to be neutered and chipped.

Located In: Sacramento

Our volunteers donate their personal time and phones so please only call during reasonable hours (8am - 8pm). The Rescue Rep identified in the dog posting is the only person with information about the dog - please only contact the designated volunteer. We do call everyone back within 2-3 days so please be patient. We work very hard to make the right matches for the dogs and for the new owners. We get 3-5 dogs per week; we do not have a facility where the dogs are housed, they are in foster homes throughout the Bay Area.
